I am trying to install an AT-AO-10 analog output card, under windows 2000. When starting the Test Panel in "Measurement & Automation Explorer" from NI-DAQ 7.40, I receive an error "device is not responding to the first irq level" and have to click continue. The board's outputs then respond properly to the tests - I can measure the correct waveforms.
Any advice on how to fix this situation, does it really matter?
It took some effort to get the board recognized at all:
Win2K would not automatically recognize the board in any way - I assume it is completely non-P+P. Thus, MAX would not list it in the device tree.
I added the board manually with Window's Hardware Manager, setting all resources manually. The irq's I had to change as Windows listed them as conflicting. I set them to 7 and 9, and set the jumpers on the board to match. I also set the BIOS to "legacy isa" for irq's 7 and 9.
After all that, MAX recognized the board, but gives the above irq problem.
