I have Labview 7.1 and have a NIDAQmx task that I need to use in an existing labview file. The task is a basic analog voltage reading. Using PCI 6229. The software is an older version, I know in the new versions, the task can be dragged and dropped into the Labview file, but that doesn't seem to work here. MAX is v3.1.1.3004

Hi,

Indeed this particular feature is just for newer versions of LabVIEW.

You will have to create the task in LabVIEW by using the DAQmx palettes.

You can also check the information in the following link.
