How to communicate with a DAQPad-6508 using C# in VS .NET 2005

How do I communicate with a DAQPad-6508 using VS.NET 2005 (C#).  Is it necessary to install a specific software package?  Also should I see the DAQPad in the list of Devices and Interfaces within the Measurement & Automation Explorer application?  I don't see the device there; however, I do see the device in Device Manager.
Thanks In Advance.

Hm. Can't remove a post. I decided I hadn't read your message well enough, so I have edited it.

Hi agriffin-

Yes, you will need to install the Traditional (Legacy) NI-DAQ 7.4.1 driver and your board must be recognized in MAX before it will work properly with your application.  The only method for using your device with C#.NET is to call into the NI-DAQ .dll (nidaq32.dll) directly as discussed in this KB.

Hopefully this helps-
