I am trying to automate a power supply by using USB 6008/(OEM) on UBUNTU16.04 platform, using python code.

And your question is ? 😉

 

By control a power supply, I assume you are trying to turn the power supply on/off. In that case, you'll need to use the DIO lines to drive an output to a switch (FET/Relay). Be aware of the turn on voltages, as well as the kickback (if using a relay).
