How can I access the analog output channels on a PCI-6221 used to control an SCXI chassis?

I am building a system which will require an SCXI chassis.  I also will need one analog output.  To keep costs low, can I control the SCXI with a PCI-6221, and if so, how do I access the analog output channel(s)?

Hi AEI_JR,

You can control your SCXI with the PCI-6221, but in order to do so you will need to use an SCXI 1349 adapter which will allow you to connect your DAQ device to the SCXI controlling module. As far as the analog output, you should take a look at the SCXI 1180. This is a feedthough module that will give you access to the unused lines from your DAQ card. You would be interested in the DAC0OUT and DAC1OUT lines. I have included some links to the 1249 and the 1180 modules for your reference.
