The main issue with going over the 10 meter limit is signal degredataion due to the high capacitance of the SH68-68 cable. If one were to construct their own cable by only running the necessary communication and analog lines, it is possible that the 10-meter rule could be extended due to a decrease in overall capacitance. Just keep in mind that NI does not generally support this type of effort.
