Unless the DAQ is worth several thousand dollars, repairing it with the manufacturer may not be worth it.
A better option is to take it to a local electronics repair shop to investigate and try repairing it. It all boils down to the value of the device and whether the additional repair cost is worth it or better to buy a new one.
