Exception on creating a second task with Analog In channels?

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm getting the exception message "{Error=-50103 Message="The specified resource is reserved. The operation could not be completed as specified.\n\nTask Name: _unnamedTask<5>\n\nStatus Code: -50103"}" when I invoke Control(..Commit) on a Task with Analog In channels I've just created.

At the time of creation I have another Task defined and running in "on demand" move that uses another set of Analog In channels from the same DAQ board (NI6229).

Is there a limitation on the number of Tasks that can use Analog In channels from a single board?

Thanks,

Paul Alley

Because the analog inputs share a single clock, you can only have one task running. You can have as many channels as you want in a single analog input task, though.
