Error -200019 occurred at Test Panel

Hi,

I had a PXI system running with 5 PXI-6133 cards synchronised using a PXI-6651 card.

The other day it stopped working, the data acquisition was timing out.

I stopped the program running, opened MAX and ran a test panel on each of the 6133 cards in turn.

2 of them worked fine, the other 3 didn’t, and gave this error:

Error -200019 occurred at Test Panel

Possible Reason(s):

Measurements: ADC conversion attempted before the prior conversion was complete.

Increase the period between ADC conversions. If you are using an external clock, check your signal for the presence of noise or glitches.

Device:  PXI1Slot6

I do also have 2 other 6133 cards from other systems in the same state.

Any ideas of how to fix them??

Cheers

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Hopefully this is some use to you within your program, if not please let me know and I will look into it further for you.

Thanks for your response Rob.

I'm not using an external clock and the program had worked fine for months beforehand.

In the test panel I am trying to read differential inputs on demand, and that's when I get the error.

Cheers,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

If you've changed nothing and the device has just stopped working then this may be a hardware issue, if you can check each card on it's own and reset then go through test panels to ensure they all work fine. If one fails then the best advice I can give you is to contact your local NI with the problem and then send it in for testing / fixing. If you have another system you can test them on this to help determine if it's a hardware failure.

Thanks,

Hi Rob,

I have checked each of them seperately using test panels in two different PXIs.

They all pass a self-test, they all appear to reset fine, but I still get this error in the test panel.

Hi Sarah,

All problems in our database relating to that particular error under MAX test panels for those cards has resulted in the cards being sent in and either swapped or repaired and sent back. I'm afraid this is looking like a hardware fault. If you can get those that fail on MAX test panels after a reset and note down the serial and part numbers then ring in to your local NI to get them fixed / replaced.

Sorry but I'm not seeing another other problems that result in MAX test panels showing those errors,

Thanks,
Applications Engineer
