Error -10001 occurred at DIO Port Config

Hi,

I had used some NI boards with Labview 6.0 to control my system over 7 years..

But, the PC (manufactured in 1998, Windows XP) was dead and I have to move all the NI boards to new PC and install new version of Labview 2011 including traditional NI-DAQ 7.4.4.

Now the MAX detects following 3 devices;

Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) Devices

PCI-6527 (device 1)

PCI-6024E (Devices 2)

PCI-MIO-16XE-10 (Devicwe 3).

I tested these and they all works fine.

But, the Labview codes generate an error; 'Error -10001 occurred at DIO Port Config'.

This error comes from 'Read from Digital Line.vi' that is one of Labview library file.

The used parameters are:

- device: 1

- digital channel: 'Footswitch', 'Fiber Shutter', or 'Laser Shutter' (all generated same error)

- line: 1

- iteration (0: initialize): 0

- port width (8): 8

Actually I din't change any from the old one.

I couldn't find any useful document or other material for this.

Can you help me to solve this problem?

And, are there any useful comments for running Labview 6.0 codes in Labview 2011 platform?

It's a lot of information to pour over, I would start with the last link before digging into the other two. I hope this information provides you with the tools to solve this problem.
