Does NI DAQ 6001/6002 need to be connected with LabVIEW all the time

Solved!

I need to make an autonomous system that read two 10v signals and generate an analog output, this can be done with NI USB 6001 and 6002 but it have to be autonomous, so it cannot be connected to LABVIEW via USB, i just want to program once and then the usb will be only for power.

Does NI DAQ need to be permanently connected to Labview to work or only to be programmed once?

Do you want to make those device standalone?

6001/6002 doesn't have internal OS so, it cannot be.

If you need a device which is standalone and no external cable is required,

myRIO or CompactRIO is recommended.
