Hello;
The first thing to try out is to install only the NI DAQ card on your Laptop.
At this point, you can also double check if the Socket of your Laptop is using the native Microsoft drivers. Sometimes, Laptop vendors install those with third party drivers. If that is the case, NI-DAQ might have hard time to talk with those drivers, which will prevent your DAQ Card to work.
You can install the native drivers from the Windows CD.
After you do that, uninstall and reinstall the NI-DAQ driver and run MAX to check the functionality of the Daq card. If everything is ok, the problem is probably a resource conflict in between the NI hardware and the third party board.
