Hello,
I am trying to read a wheatstone sensor module (http://www.dowaytech.com/en/2045.html) using the DAQ analog input ports. I am just using the DAQ assistant in the vi. I tried this task on two different DAQ hardware- the DAQpad6105(BNC) and the NI USB6210. I have a problem when I switch from the DAQpad6015 to the NI USB6210. On the DAQpad, the connections I did were, V+ and V- is connected to the AI0 in differential mode. Since I also need a start trigger, I connect the clock signals which trigger my measurements to the port named as PFI0/AI start trigger. And this works fine for me, I get a decent low noise signal. When I replicate the exact same connections, there is a lot more noise in the signals that are read. I am at a loss to understand why this is the case. Is it something to do with the grounding in the two scenarios? On the DAQpad, I can see a symbold of "Ground Ref Source", but there is no mention of this in the NI USB6210. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
OOI

Hello,
In the above line I mean that when I replicate the exact same connections *on the NI USB6210*. I am sorry it was ambiguous when I posted the question.
Thanks.
