DAQmx directory in vi.lib missing from older Labview. How do I get it back?

I have Labview 2012 and 8.6 on my computer. When I updated to the latest DAQmx driver version, the DAQmx directory is in Labview2012\vi.lib fine. But the same directory that used to exist in the Labview8.6 is missing. I am not able to run any DAQ functions because the libraries have disappeared. Is this an DAQmx install bug?

According to this kb, the latest version of DAQmx that will work with LabVIEW 8.6 is 9.5.1.  So if you installed any version of DAQmx that is newer, the DAQmx support for LabVIEW 8.6 would have been removed.
