DAQPad6070

Hi there,
does anybody have seen the new DAQpad6070E already? NI Germany has
problems
to deliver it.
This device is connected to the PC via a IEEE 1394 (firewire). Does
anybody know
whether one can cut the firewire-cable in the middle, since we have to
lead the signals
via an rotational transducer?

Matthias,

The IEEE-1394 cable is merely the bus interface. It does not provide access to the circuitry on your DAQPad-6070E. The flow of data is generally: rotational transducer>>DAQPad-6070E>>IEEE-1394>>PC. The DAQPad will need to be cabled to a breakout box so that you can connect your transducer's signals to the I/O pins on the board.
