The DAQ assitant vi's are not loaded onto your computer by default during the installation. You actually have to load them separately after the installation from one of the installation disks.
Another alternative is to go to a computer that does have those vi's and copy them from that computer to your computer. If you do it this way, you probably won't be able to find them in the menu, you'll have to add them by right clicking and selecting "Select a vi...". Hope this helps.
