DAQ assistant missing even after installing DAQmx 14.0 f1

I am updating NiMax on several machines (Windows 7 Pro SP1 64Bit)  in my lab to NIDAQ1760f2, and find that on some machines, my NI USB-9162 fails to load the driver

and properly identify the device in NiMax.

I have a similarly configured cDaq-9171 which loads and operates fine.

I removed all "National Instruments" programs using the control panel, and reloaded, but get the same result. Is it possible that a previously loaded driver is not being updated when I install the NiDAQ software?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What does any of this have to do with the DAQ Assistant as your title implies?

Crossrulz,

Not sure how that subject heading got there, it is not what I intended.

In any case, I just removed and reloaded the NIDAQ17.6 (again) and the system did find the 9162, so I am not sure if a problem does exist.

Thanks for the response.
