I'll try to post my vi when I'll be at work, but it will perhaps be a different matter for you : you talk about a 20 MHz data rate while I was speaking about 250 kHz, wich is far bellow any hard drive's capacity. Anyway if you talk about RAID, I guess you have thoughts about that.
The "problem" with the event structure was that I used an old dirty hack in order to start the acquisition when pressing a button, while the event strucutre could do this much better and cleaner, you'll see that on the diagram.
