Configuration of DAQ NI-USB-6212

Hi

Is it possible to drive the USB 6212 using LabView 7.1 on a Xp-32 bit platform? I install the DAQmx 9.0.2 but there is not DAQ assistant in tools of Labview 7.1.

According to this, the latest version you can use is 8.9. Look at the readme and you'll see the 6212 listed.

Thanks to your reply. Your observation is correct. I installed the driver, my DAQ is recognized by Windows. However, when I put DAQ assistance in the block diagram, the initialization  doesn't  work and I get an error message.

Being recognized by windows is not relevant since your original 9.0.2 installation is valid for xp. I suspect that there were remnents left over that the uninstall of 9.0.2 did not remove. Try it again with msiblast.

Indeed, I remove all Ni Tools before I install DAQmx-8.9, But I try with MSIblast

I install again LabVIEW 7.1 and NI-DAQmx-8.9. And I get the same error message: "Some components required for editing are missing.". (even if the USB 6212 is not connected)
