CompactDAQ modules compatibilty

Hi,

I am using CompactDAQ chassis cDAQ-9178.

the modules in questions are ni-9411 (digital input) and ni-9219 (AI).

Both modules working fine if i used them separately, but the problem appears when i try to use them together on the same chassis.

are both modules can be used in the same chassis ?

i tried to use two daq assistant for each on the same vi, is that legal?

It should be okay to use both modules simultaneously and in two different DAQmx tasks.

I recommend using the DAQmx VIs, instead of the DAQ Assistant, but either approach should work having two of them in the same VI: Learn 10 Functions in NI-DAQmx and Handle 80 Percent of Your Data Acquisition Applications
