Cannot get DAC Assistant Wizard to pop up

I am trying to interface my PC running LabView 7.1 with a SC-2345 DAQ. I cannon get the DAQ Assistant to pop up. It works on my desktop PC, but not on the laptop that the DAQ is connected to. I inherited the project, so I am not sure what changes to the settings/perferences were made to LabView.

The DAQ assistant requires the DAQmx driver. Depending on the DAQ card in your laptop and your OS, this could be the problem. For example, the PCMCIA 6012E and 6041E could not use the DAQ assistant. Please visit http://www.ni.com/support/daq/versions to verify your card is supported in DAQmx.

I got it fixed after..i needed to have admin rights in Win XP.

Do users need to be an administrator/power user to run the DAQ Assistant Wizard?  Or can permissions be changed on the driver only to allow regular users to run this wizard?

I'm having problems w/my users not being able to run this wizard unless they are at least members of the Power Users.
