Can't get any signal out of my pci-6514

Hey

I'm a student industrial engineer from belgium.
I'm trying to work with a pci-6514 card. I've been trying for several days to get some kind of signal out of my chart.
After searching a while for a working vi for my type of card, i found a example in my NI example Finder calded: Write Dig Port.vi.
Still no signal.

I'm measuring with a scoop between (p4.0-->p4.7)---->p4.gnd.  the only thing i measure is the 50 Hz noise
I've chosen for channel parameters in Write Dig Port.vi.: Dev1/port4
I've installed NIDAQ810 and labview 7.1 on my computer.
I did the self test in the measurements & automation explorer.  --> The device has passed the self test.

I'm i doing something terribley wrong or do i have to check my daq chart again...

Can someone please help me, i really need to now this....

thanks

Hi,

Have you tried testing your device with the test panels in the measurement and automation explorer? Try both reading and generating a signal from there on all your ports to make sure the device is working.

What signal accessory are you using? How is the scope connected up? ie which pins?

What do you want to be able to do with the card eventually? If you give me an idea what you want to do I'll try and write/find some example code for you.

Hi,

I just found the following KB that refers to your device:

Do you have an external power supply connected to the VCC pins of the card?
