Can PCI-NI4351 board work with Labview 8 windows XP?

I used 2 NiDAQ 7 CDs provided by NI, and NI4350/4351 Series CD to install to my new windows XP system (was used Windows NT), after I installed LV8.  Some problems that I have are:

1.  There are no error during installing NiDAQ, but MAX cannot detect the indteface board.  Also my windowsXP cannot detect hardware either.

2.  When I install Ni4350/4351 software, there is a window popup asking VI logger CD that I do not have it.  I click OK button, then it stop instalation.

My questions are:

1.  Do I use the correct Ni DAQ version?  Should I use tradition NiDAQ or niDAQmx?

2.  Can PCI-NI4351 board work with Labview 8 windows XP?

3.  Do I need to install PCI-NI4351 driver?

I need some advices regarding above problems. Thanks for all your helps

According to the driver support page, you need version 7.4.4 of the traditional driver on XP.

Hello,

The NI-435x driver is a wrapper for Traditional NI-DAQ that makes it easier to program a 4350 or 4351 device.  It's not required, but it makes things easier.
