Can I use channel property node on PCIe6320?

Hi all,

I'm new to Labview. I'm using PCIe6320 on Labview2011. I tried use channel property node for onboad lowpass filtering. I referred to the uploaded vi file ("filter6280.vi") on the following website:

The vi did not work on PCIe6320. Error message told me as follwows:

Requested value is not a supported value for this property.

Property: AI.Lowpass>Enable
You Have Requested: True
You Can Select: False

That means PCIe 6320 is not able to use onboad lowpass filtering? Sould I use filtering functions?

Hi Mitsu,

The DAQ cards that support analog input lowpass filtering are the 628x series.  The PCIe-6320 does not have a built in lowpass filter, so this is why it gives you the specific error.  You can either accomplish lowpass filtering in software, or by using Compact DAQ, SCC, or SCXI.  You can also create your own lowpass filter circuit if you want to go through that undertaking.
