Can I use a PCB 604B31 accelerometer with NI-USB 6239 and BNC 2110?

Hi,

I have an NI USB 6239 and BNC 2110. Can I use this to get data from a PCB 604B31 tri-axial accelerometer? It's an ICP sensor, so I am not sure if it needs an extra signal conditioner or something.

Your ICP sensor requires a CC excitation on the signal lines which the 6239 cannot provide. Typically DSA family of instruments provide this excitation current (IEPE).

You need some sort of signal conditioning circuit that can power the sensor and extract the signal to be connected to a readout device (in this case the 6239 DAQ AI).
