Can I run a vi app using a PCI6602 from my laptop

Need to run an application written with a PCI6602 on labview 8.6 30 day eval to give a consulting estimate. No broken arrow, but the program doesn't run. Is their a way to execute the remainder of the vi?

Obviously you have no hardware so the best you can do is simulate it in MAX.

Dennis is correct; the program will return an error that it cannot find the specified resource since you do not have hardware in the system. Information on simulating the device can be found at the Developer Zone Tutorial NI-DAQmx Simulated Devices. Keep in mind that the functionality of the program may change slightly when using a simulated device such as all triggering being immediate and reading counter data always returns a 0 (just to name a couple). These differences are listed in the tutorial linked above under the section "Considerations for Using NI-DAQmx Simulated Devices". Hope this helps,
