This question would be better off posted in the Distributed I/O FieldPoint forum rather than the MultiFunction IO forum.

Yes, you may have multiple FP-1000 modules on different COM ports at the same time. Due to a current limitation in FieldPoint Explorer, if you want to use them simultaneously, they both need to be listed as separate resources in the same IAK file. You may not use different IAK files and access them simultaneously.
