Analog output not zero

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello all,

I have a NI DAQ mx 6343 USB x series. A analog pump is connected to the analog output A0 (pin  15).

I see (measure with a volt-meter)  when i turn on the DAQ that the output goes to 1.35 volt and then to zero.

I havent started any software yet. The problem is that the connected pump starts running for a short period

until the output value is zero again.

Is this normal and how can i prevent this.

Regards

Yes, it is expected as stated in the specifications and the duration is variable based on your system.

You could add a relay controlled by a DO line that will connect the signal to AO only when you run your automation and when DO/Relay is off, connect the Analog pump signal to GND.
