Analog Output won't go back to zero when stopped

Hi, I am having a PCI-6035E installed. I opened the MAX and ran a test of Analog Output from the device. I got the right reading from oscilloscope, but when I closed the test panel, the reading wouldn't go back to zero. Same thing happens when I control the output with a LabVIEW program. Any one knows what I can do?

I am a novice to all these stuff, so please let me know if I wasn't clear. By the way, this didn't happen before. I just installed higher versions of LabVIEW and DAQmx and now comes this problem.

Any help would be appreciated!

As far as I know, this has always been the expected behavior. You need to use another DAQmx Write to set the output to 0 before you stop the task.

Dennis:

You only have to set it to 0 once 😉
