A second DAQCard 6062E is not recognized by MAX (ver 2.1.3.14)

An IBM A21 laptop has two DAQCard 6062E's installed. Windows 2000 shows two cards in the Device Manager screen, but MAX will not recognize the second card. I have verified that only one version of NiDAQ (ver. 6.9.1) is running.

Hello;

That is a known issue which there is a workaround for it.
You need to uninstall NI-DAQ 6.9.1 and install 6.9.2 from our web site.
Also, you need to:

Copy nicfq32.dll and nipsm.dll into the system32 directory, and copy nihwdb.psm into the Winnt directory.

In MAX, you will see both cards. At this time, however, they will show up as the same socket number, and we are not displaying the controller number, so you'll have to put the cards in one at a time to figure out which card is assigned to which device number.

All the files needed for the fix are attached to this response.

Hope this fixes the problem.

I tried to follow the procedure, but NIDAQ 6.9.2 apparently has a missing file. During the NIDAQ installation the following error occurred:

ERROR 1311 Source file not found: C\...\NIDAQ\daqlv60eng.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

I tried to download NIDAQ again and reinstall, but the same error occurs.
