9263 voltage jump

Hi,

I am writing a cRIO control application where I use the 9263 module to output a control signal. I have written the FPGA code so that when it is shutdown I write zero values to all the outputs for safety.

I was just checking the signals on a CRO and noticed that when the FPGA loop is terminated all is well - 0V is written to the outputs. However, when the RT closes the reference to the FPGA the voltage jumps from 0 to +40 mV.

Is this normal and if so why?

Many thanks,

Steve.

Hello St3ve,

Just a question, is your close FPGA VI reference call set to just close or is it set to close and reset (the default)?   You can right click on the close FPGA VI reference to check this.

I suspect the 40mV output is due to the reset rather than closing the reference to the FPGA.

Thanks,

Sebastian.
