We are developing an application in C using double buffering in
handshake mode 4.
We output at 2 Mhz words of 8 and 16 bits, nidaq 6.6 and 6.7
The pc is WINNT4 SP6, system hard disk with 4 GB free, RAM 1GigaByte.
In Win98 we allocated 100MEGABYTES buffer but with winNT 4.0 sp6, we
have been able only to allocate 64MegaBytes. If we tried to allocate
more than 64MB the nidaq returned -10444.
NI promised us that no limit existed on nidaq buffering. The problem
could be NT, but how it's possible that 98 works fine and NT not ?
If anyone has experienced similar problems, please contact me.
