We've been using the PCI-6025e for years now using NIDAQ 6.3.9 and today I find on 3 new PC's and with new cards that they are detected by Windows XP but not visible in NI-MAX and unsuprisingly do not work with our CVI software.
Any idea what might be wrong?
The cards work in an old pc though.
Thanks
John

Hi John,
Have you installed the latest DAQmx drivers (for windows XP)
If so, are the cards inserted and ment to work with the mother board?
Try fitting them into another PCI slot,
If the card isnt seen try fitting another different card that you know works into the slots to make sure the slots are working properly.
Hope this can resolve the issue,

Thanks for the help.
MX is not an option as it will not work with our CVI programme without a major rewrite.
Cards do work in an older PC. Older cards do not work in the newer PC.
Not sure about meant work with motherboard, they always have in the past.
Tried the cards in different slots idea with no success.
However as XP recognies the cards but not NIMAX then it would appear that PCI is working.
Also a 7334 that is in the system is recognised.
So any other ideas?
Thanks again.

Hi John,
Which version of Traditional DAQ have you got installed on your new machines?
The PCI-6025e cards are compatible with NI-DAQ 7.4.4 under Windows XP
You are able to download this driver from http://www.ni.com/downloads and selecting the Drivers and Updates option and searching for NI-DAQ, the first option shown in the Search Results should be Traditional NI-DAQ version 7.4.4
Likewise the PCI-7334 is dependant on the NI-Motion driver software, which can also be downloaded at http://www.ni.com/downloads
Hope this helps

Steve
