For this configuration, you will need an R1005050 cable to split the MIO section (pins 1-50) from the extended DIO section (pins 51-100). You would then plug the MIO connector (pins 1-50) into the J1 connector of the SC-2050. Then, using an NB7 26-pin ribbon cable, connect either J3 or J4 of the SC-2050 to the 5B Series backplane.
You can connect the CB-50 to connector J2 on the SC-2050 with a 50-pin ribbon cable. This gives access to all MIO pins (1-50) on the DAQ device. This is mainly useful for accessing the unused DIO, counter, and analog output lines.
The extended DIO connector (pins 51-100) can connect directly to the SSR Series backplane.
