servo experiment station

Hi

My name is Assaf Keller, and I am planning to build an experiment station to control several servo motors through scripts on my laptop. I am interested in measuring various parameters such as:

• Current consumption
• Motor RPM
• Position of the motor
• Temperature
• Voltage

Additionally, I plan to integrate sensors that will measure load, noise, and strain, with the capability to log all these parameters.

Could you kindly advise me on what equipment I would need to fulfill most or some of the requirements mentioned above?

Advanced servo motor controllers will be able to report these parameters in addition to controlling the motor. Have you planned the motor driver part? because motors need higher voltage and current and closed loop control with encoder to maintain the position.

What are you trying to do? trying to characterize different motor performance?
