Have you been able to tune it with the AKD software?

Thank you for your assistance Highland_Controls - very much appreciated.  I have tried tuning the motor using the AKD software in constant velocity mode and constant torque mode, but have had no success.  When tuning the motor using the AKD software, the first few steps of the process are completed and then an alarm appears indicated an issued with the amplifier and/or error when computing the FFT (maximum motor current is exceeded on the displayed current input).  This is strange though because while the motor is running, albeit not at a constant velocity, the current is substantially lower than the maximum.

You will have to be able to tune it with the AKD software first.  If there are issues with that, then I recommend that you contact Kollmorgen.
