Using NI 9514/NI Softmotion on SBRIO 9631

Anyone have experience  in using NI Softmotion on a SBRIO?

I would like to create a testsystem to evaluate the NI Softmotion SW, but i only have a SBRIO available. 

Is it possible to use an NI 9514 in combination with a SBRIO 9631?

Does the NI Softmotion module needs the RIO Scaninterface?

Hi Ben,

the NI 9514 leverages the cRIO scan engine. The scan engine is only supported on cRIO systems with at least 2 M gate FPGA size. It is not supported on sbRIO.

Hi,

just for next generation of people looking for info in this aspect - the actual list of devices supported by Scan Engine is:

so 2M gate is not more indication what is supported.
