Torque measurement

For big diameter's valve ,it needs to test the torque , the specification is as follows :
1,Max. Torq. is 12000N.m ;
2,Measurement accuracy is +/- 10%;
3,Valve's diameter range is 300~800 mm.

How to construct such a test system? What device or element must have ? Thanks.

Hi, David,

I am not sure I fully understand your application, but I will try to offer some suggestions. If you are simply interested in measuring torque, you may be better off using data acquisition and signal conditioning hardware.
