NI cDAQ 9174 with NI 9503 Module unsupported module

I am currently trying to drive two stepper motors using two NI 9503 Modules plugged into a cDAQ 9174. I have the motors plugged into the modules, but they are being detected as unsupported modules in NI Max. I am quite new to NI software and have no experience with this so I was hoping someone could help me out.

If I have left any important information out, please let me know.

Hi,

That module that you use is not compatible with cDAQ. It work with CompactRIO.

Ah, ok this make a lot of sense as to why I cant find any information on this. I was just given these parts and told to make them work so I didn't know.
