Inquiry About C++ Compilers Used For Motion Control

Hi,

What C++ compilers can be used to compile C++ files with motion controller header files and, in extension, its functions? For example, how would I go about compiling the example files provided in the NI-motion folder (C:\National Instruments Downloads\NI-Motion\18.0\examples\C)? Thanks guys.

Is there a reason this needs to be done using C++? Is it possible to code in C with LabWindows/CVI and use the C compilers that it has for your application?

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to program in C++ because I had expertise in it. Fortunately, I was able to compile the example programs in Visual Studio, even with the examples' C libraries, due to backwards compatibility.
