Firmware update for PXI-7334

We upgraded from LabVIEW 7.1 to 8.2.1 along with the latest MAX and NI-Motion 7.5.0.3003.  When trying to use a pxi-7334 motion controller module with firmware v6.13.3006, I get the message to update the firmware.  The pc hooked to the pxi chassis (thru mxi-3) is not on the internet and cannot be connected due to Air Force restrictions (a long story).  How can I update the firmware?

Hello Dansen,

You will not need to be connected to the internet to update the firmware.  MAX will look at the firmware versions available on your computer to update the controller.  In MAX, under NI Motion devices, you should see your controller.  Click on it, and you should see four tabs on the lower right portion of your screen.  One of them is Firmware.  Click on Firmware, and then on the Update Firmware button.
