Adding a physical axis linked to a 9503 module

Hello,

I'm working with two 9503 modules and two steppers.

I've been using the example "position profile with encoder" with one axis.

I've added another axis to this project following the example "position profile multi axis" for the FPGA code.

It seems that both axis are bound to the same 9503 module, when I run my code, only one drive enabled and in the interactive test panel, both axis have "drive enabled".

Regards,

Margaux

Hello Margaux,

Are both modules detected on your MAX panel? Are both self-tests concluding?

Which RIO device are you using? Is it a cRIO-9074?

Have a nice day,

Armando

Hello,

I am using a cRIO 9039,

I have succeeded in connecting both modules,

I was not pointing to the right FPGA bitfile,

Thanks,

Margaux

Hi Armando,

I'm now encountering another trouble.

I work in open loop so I didn't put any switch limit in the axis configuration.

However, it seems both drives enable, then disables immediatly (after ~2 seconds).

In interactive test panel, the two indicators "Move complete" and "Position Profile" are always green, as if my move was always complete (eventhough the motor didn't move at all.)

Do you have any idea about the source of the problem ?

Thanks,

Margaux
