We are a small start up company recently spun out of the University of Minnesota working on a medical device product. Currently we have a lab, bench top device that has been assembled that integrates a moving stage, IR camera and a laser for evaluating test samples. The basic Labview/Metlab software, control, data collection and data analysis was written by a graduate student who has moved on after graduating. We would like to modify and improve the software for controlling the device to allow more flexibility in testing procedures and reduce the time for testing/data collection and analysis,
We are looking for someone who is proficient in Labview and Metlab who can help us to refine the programming and improve the operation of our device. We believe that this effort would take possibly a month or less to complete. The work can be done on a part time basis to help accommodate your schedule. If you have these skills and are interested in a short contract project, please contact me. If you are a foreign student, you will need the appropriate work visa that allows you to work in the USA.
