Good afternoon all,

So all is looking good for the next group meeting to be held on Monday 12th October so not far away now!

Argenta are hosting the event this time round and we will be meeting at The Greswolde Arms Hotel in Knowle, which is just off Junction 5 of the M42.

Our first speaker has been confirmed as David Maidman who will be delivering a case study style presentation about a project he has recently completed with the focus on Gas Detection Sensors.

Looking forward to confirmation of who will be able to attend, will also be sending out an email so apologies for cross communications!

We have now had the second speaker confirmed - this will be Peter Horn from National Instruments who has provided the following to provide an overview of what he will be covering.

"asserts are a common software engineering technique for debugging complex applications but aren't natively available in LabVIEW. I've developed a toolkit for enabling these asserts to be inserted, used and compiled out of code depending on the stage of development (active during development and compiled out once the code has been deployed to a customer)"

What a fascinating prospect we have for our next meeting!
