graph amplitude units

I am inputting a voltage into a waveform graph using a DAQ card.  To test the programming I hooked the DAQ up to a signal generator with an amplitude of 2.  The wavechart with the output gives the amplitude as .2 . How do I get the it to automatically scale correctly and what units is the default for the amplitude setting?  Also, when the input amplitude was set to 10, it showed up on the waveform chart with an amplitude of 1.2.  Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? What happens if you run the following example?
<MeasurementStudio>\VB\Samples\DAQ\Analog Input\Continuous Acquisition\Continuous Acquisition.Vbp

Also, does the device appear to be reading correctly in the Measurement & Automation Explorer test panels?
