Latest version?

Hi all,

I have a few questions maybe you can answer. What is the latest version
of Component Works/Measurement Studio. Which is what, is Component
Works still referred to as a separate package, or is it now only
referred to as Measurement studio. I have a problem with the DAQ
ActiveX not installing in my development environments. I originally
wanted to use it in C++ builder as activeX, had a problem, talked to
support, told me it was a Borland issue. Fine, didn't seem right to me,
but I left it at that. Now, a few months later, DAQ does not install
into VB either. Same control. Some work, like the 3d graph, but others
don't. We have measurement studio 1.0, and have not received an update
lately. Where can I go to look for patche
s and updates. The NI site is
useless for finding these sorts of things. can someone point me to a
link, or ftp site?

Measurement Studio 1.0.1 is available from the upgrade advisor at http://www.ni.com/upgrade.
This upgrade advisor can always be used to check for any software upgrades
that are available. It's a free upgrade for MS 1.0 users. ComponentWorks
is now one of three components inside Measurement Studio and is not sold
separately, but the MS pricing is the same. The ActiveX controls for DAQ
should work without any issues in Visual Basic and Visual C++ and we provide
free phone and e-mail support for these environments and any problems you
are having in them. Please send the description of the problem you are having
with the DAQ controls to our engineers at http://www.ni.com/ask and we will
be happy to help you debug any problems you are having with DAQ and VB.

I will attempt to re-install and then get the free upgrade first.

Our rep may be here in the near future for something else too, so I may just ask him. I have a
feeling that there is something I don't know that I should.
