how to minimize the size of daqmx redistribution?

I have an application (made with Measurement Studio .NET) that requires daqmx, so I have to redistribute this with the program.  The customer would really like everything to be on 1 CD; just press set up and sit back.  Unfortunately, the daqmx (8.0.1) package is some 600 MB.  Suffice it to say, this doesn't leave much room for anything else (like dotnetfx.exe).  This package is loaded with every driver NI has, 90% at least of which I don't want (Labview, PXI, etc.).  Is there some way to get the driver redistribution package down to just the components I need?  If I can't get rid of the excess files can I dummy them?

Hi Ross,

I realize that the DAQmx driver is rather large and R&D is continually working on making new releases of the driver smaller. As of right now, the latest download size is about 467 MB as opposed to over 700 MB last year. If you want to free up some space on the CD, you could use the zip file from the DAQmx 8.0.1 download site.
