I recently had my laptop refreshed and installed VS2015 and the older Measurement Studio 2015. I noticed that Measurement Studio 2015 only supports VS 2010, 2012 and 2013. Before my laptop refresh, I had both VS2015 and VS2012 installed. Realizing that I was missing some drivers when adding references to a project, I found that Measurement Studio 2019 was available. I uninstalled the older version and installed MS 2019. The 488.2 drivers were still not available. I manually installed version 19.5 of the 488.2 drivers and still could not find the drivers to use as a reference in code. When installing the 488.2 drivers manually I noticed that the support for that only included VS2010, 2012 and 2013.
I had to install VS2012 back on my laptop in order to see the 488.2 drivers in my VS2015 devenv. Am I missing something? Are there any plans to update 488.2 to support any VS version newer than 2013? I shouldn't have to install a development environment I don't plan to use in order to have drivers available.
