vision 7.1 and OCR

Hello

We have LabVIEW 8.2 and Vision 7.1 development module, and we are trying to use vision to recognize some numbers. But Vision 7.1 doesn’t have OCR vi. When we buy Vision 7.1 the distributor inform us that we could do this with vision 7.1. My question is: vision 7.1 development module can perform OCR or we need to buy another NI product?

If this software has OCR why we can’t found it? We have a OCR training.

Ps: since we have vision 7.1 we upgrade LabVIEW from 7.1 to 8.0 and now to 8.2.

Hi,
 It is normal that you do not see the VIsion Function in Labview cause Vision 7.1 does not install support for labview 8.20.
Do not hesitate to contact your saler to find a solution and see how you can obtain the update of the Vison driver. (Vision 8.2)
