Hi

The problem is with the USB Camera only. Normally any USB cam takes this time because of its interface nature.

Thank you for your answers!
I capture video using VFW initialization faster, only use IMAQdx speed slow.
thanks!

My camera is Basler GigE,   and link 6 cameras.         use NI 2012

IMAQdxOpenCamera cost 10 seconds,   Why?

and I found it cost more time open one camera if more cameras link.

You will liklely find a significant speed increase by updating your version of Vision Acquisition (and the included IMAQdx driver). GenICam-based cameras such as GigE Vision ones use an industry software component called GenApi to parse the XML files from the camera. There have been notable speed increases in newer versions that speed up opening quite a bit.
